Straight Shooter This is a great product. Been using another major manufactorer's products for several years, but everyone says I sound much clearer on this product.

Deace This is my second Jawbone headset, and I thought for the price it would improve over the Icon. Although it had some great features like the motion sensor and tap the phone to answer feature it falls way short for comfort and usability in loud environments. I called their tech support on the issue of comfort.... I mentioned that this headset was like spending fifty thousand dollars on a new car, just to get in and find out the seats are lawn chairs, and the windows leak so bad you can't talk when your driving. In fact I would fire their entire testing staff, and remove the CEO.

The headset isn't comfortable over long periods of time, and when trying to commubicate in my delivery truck, people complain they can't hear me.

I purchased another headset, a Blueant Q2, and it's volume is excellent, and much more comfortable to wear in very active and loud environments .

Spnrgrl99 When I got my first touchscreen phone, I was always resting my ear on the phone and hanging up on the caller which was highly annoying to both parties.

I bought and tried out 7 of the top selling bluetooth headsets at the time but either the fit was uncomfortable or the sound wasn't much better than the 5 year old inexpensive headset I already had (which was old and sounded bad).

After I returned the 5th headet, I decided to do some research and the Jawbone Icon (the newest one at the time) was rated well by everyone who owned on or tried one.

Bought the Icon that day, problem solved. Worked perfect, cancelled noise so well no one ever heard wind noise if I was driving on the freeway with the windows down.

The ICON was also light and short not requiring an earhook to stay in place for long periods of the time.

Unfortunately, I lost my Icon after 2 years and replaced it with the Icon HD which was good but then I saw the Era, which has the best noise assasin technology, so I returned the Icon and ordered an Era.

The Era does live up to the reviews but because it is longer and a tad heavier than the Icon, it won't stay in my ear for long periods without falling out if I move my head to fast, tilt to one side or even pull a sweatshirt over my head if I'm not wearing the earhook. Maybe that's just my small ears and no one else would ever have that issue so take the comment with a grain of salt.

I already had the earbud kit for my Icon which has many sizes and shapes (the Era comes with plenty) but even with the same bud I used for the Icon, the Era doesn't fit as snugly so that's something I have to pay attention to if I don't want to replace another lost device. No the Icon didn't fall out of my ear. I left it behind after updating it online with my laptop while traveling. I forgot to put it in my purse.

The Era's sound was very crackly on my end when making a call out of the box. I paired it prior to going online to My Talk, (Jawbones website) where you can personalize device settings and get the most recent updates.

Since I updated it and repaired it, the sound is better on my end and callers don't know I'm on a Bluetooth device which is my goal.

This very advanced Bluetooth device, which does a lot more than act as a headset. There are many apps at My Talk which allow you to do almost anything handsfree. Very cool feature and most of it;s free if you create a My Talk account (which you must do to update the device), very quick and simple process.

My thumbs up for sure and I don't like writing reviews :)

JIM90 I've been using Blue Tooth headsets for years and own 7 different sets. I own the orig. Jawbone, Three Plantronics, including Pro + and Voyager. And the HX1 Moto. The sound,Features, and comfort are way ahead with the Era. With the A2DP streaming feature I can listen to my audio books through my Droid X or my Ipod. Being able to update and add features on line is very easy and fun. Did I mention the sound!!!!! I drive a big rig and it has a good bit of background noise but my wife says it sounds great. I guess you can tell I'm very pleased.

BlueAdept I recenty got a Plantronics Voyager Pro. the thing keeps falling off and would never stay on. sucks that I'm wearing glasses too, called them they said, theres nothing they can do or help.

Today 02/04/2011 bought this new Jawbone ERA, and WoW., it fits.. it doesn't fall off, plenty of ear plugs to choose from, the sound is great!, software update and plenty of voices to choose from, tons of options compare to the others.

I always had Plantronics in the past.. but this Jawbone is making me feel like a teenager again. love this device!!

wase4711 I've had at least 20 BT headsets in my life, so I am pretty well versed in these things; I have been reading about this headset, and decided that even though I love my Plantronics Pro Plus, it is really big and ugly, and does NOT have true voice dialing and caller id name readout, like the ERA does, so I thought I would try it.

GREAT sound, easy to update, and setup the caller id names.

Fit is great, much lighter than my Plantronics Pro Plus, and you can hardly see it on my face. Noise assassin really works great, and music sound very good too!

Its a bit pricey, but, quality doesn't come cheap now a days!

anotherletdown Bought one of these. Read the reviews and they were all very positive. Played with it some when I took it out of the box and seemed to work very well. Then...... I made the mistake of plugging it into my computer. Looking back i didnt think it was a great idea but I didnt have any reason to think what would happen did. I installed the updater provided by the mytalk site that the instructions and box said to. When i tried to sync it with the site it got part way through and said failed.... also it mentioned that my headset may not be useable (of course it says this after it messes up, with no warning before). Called tech support talked to the first guy..... he had me uninstall the updater and reinstall.... when that didnt work he said I will have a senior tech call you.... Of course I didnt get a call or an email from them. When I called back at one oclock the next day got person #2 who had me uninstall the driver and reinstall it when that didnt work he said that he was going to have to refer it to someone else, and here i sit waitting. The reason it isnt working with my computer I was told is because im running windows xp.

hcho3 I bought this on Friday at my local best buy. I have been using this headset for 3 days. The sound quality is very good and the call quality is very clear compare to my jawbone icon. I used to own Plantronic voyager pro and voyager pro had a better call quality than icon. But, with this era, no, it doesn't anymore. It's almost the same. I was able to get 5 hours of usage from both talking and listening to music. I am very happy with the battery life so far.

The Always Skeptic Buyer I purchased the Jawbone ERA Shadowbox 2 days ago and although its only been a short period of time, I love it. I saw the videos Jawbone has for the Noise Assassin 3.0 and I had to give it a shot. I'm constantly traveling from one appointment to the next and on the phone constantly throughout the day. To test this product for myself, I called my wife and left a voice mail with my truck stereo volume up 3/4, the A/C fan on high, my window half down, while I was on the highway. I was absolutely amazed! I couldn't hear ANY of the background noise. I guess that's why Jawbone was the only company that stood by their product enough to put a video out instead of just claiming what their product could do.
